Representatives from Global Sound Movement from the University of Central Lancashire, have been on the Rock to promote what they describe as their revolutionary sustainable fundraising platform. The GSM team is committed to recording unique instruments from around the world and offering these sounds to composers and producers.
The aim of the venture is to connect communities through music, whilst offering UCLan students on the BA (Hons) Music Production course practical experience in a variety of destinations.The University hopes to introduce one of their projects here focusing on Gibraltar’s local culture. They were recently on the Rock, at the invitation of the Gibraltar Academy of Music and Performing Arts, and gave a presentation to students.
