The Bouzouki is a long necked Greek mandolin, with four pairs of strings. Its large and rounded resonant chamber provides it with a great tonal depth, and its octave strings serve only to enhance its distinctive character and timbre. The GSM Bouzouki is spread over six total octaves, three with muted notes, and three with sustained notes, and is our first Kontakt instrument to feature key switching, allowing alternation between the two phrasings.
